Impossibile to hate them. They literally make the best heros in New York. The lines are long sometimes but that's only during the lunch time. Would recommend!
Opened in a new spot where you don't have to duck your head to get in. Same great food! I tried the soup and it has the same great flavor that I remember. They still got their famous sandwiches of which I ordered a spicy willies. Still offers breakfast too. Located on the southest side of the building.
I am so happy they came back! I had to definitely go back and check it out and the new spot is such an improvement from the previous one. Very big and bright deli. There are tables to sit in and enjoy your meal. I ordered take out but the flavor is still delicious as always! It was beyond amazing so see many familiar faces from the original village hero! I am def coming back to the new location! I love the fact that the menu is 95% the same!!!!!! Couple of new things but their menu items have been great!!!
Absolutely delicious, hefty sandwich as well as serving sizes. So glad I was able to give them a chance this time around. Only complaint that I have is that they close at 3:00 pm, otherwise I’d be frequenting here alot more. Otherwise, 5/5 stars, keep it up!

Home of the friendliest staff and the greatest food! So thankful they have reopened! I order the Ely with roasted red peppers, Swiss cheese, lettuce and extra mayo everytime I go and it never disappoints! Highly recommend visiting.
So delicious I just got the bush hero today and it was one of the best heroes I've had in a long time. The chicken cutlet was crispy and so is the bacon and everything was very fresh. The people were very nice and friendly. I have a sesame allergy which can sometimes be an issue and I was able to eat their food with no problem!
